This week I’m sharing another free printable solo with piano accompaniment that you can use with your beginning students.
Texas Spring is a beginning pizzicato piece that uses open A and E and first finger F# on the E string. For a simple rote-taught piece using these same notes, check out the Flower Song in this post:
Preview Texas Spring with the video below, which you can also use as an accompaniment or practice video for your students.
Texas Spring is also available on Soundslice. Soundslice is a powerful music teaching tool that allows you to view music notation/tablature synced with audio/video recordings, click on the notation to go to that moment in the recording, slow down without changing pitch, loop sections by dragging across the notes, print music, toggle between video and accompaniment tracks, and much more, all from the comfort of your web browser, without installing anything. Follow me on Instagram to see my intro reel for Soundslice and a few more quick mini-tutorials.
